Bangkit/Arise Part II

Megan Wilson, as co-director of Clarion Alley Mural Project is as of now coordinating and arranging Bangkit/Arise, a second worldwide exchange and residency between artists from the Bay Area (Jose Guerra Awe, Shaghayegh Cyrous, Jet Martinez, Kelly Ording, Keyvan Shovir, Christopher Statton, Megan Wilson) and Jogjakarta, Indonesia (Nano Warsono, Bambang Toko, Harding Arvati, Muhammad Yusuf (Ucup), Wedhar Riyadi, Eko Didyk Sukowati (Codit), and Vina Puspita.) The venture’s institutional accomplice in San Francisco is the Asian Art Museum.

Part one of the residency was The Bay Area artists in Indonesia July/August 2018, and part tow is the Jogjakarta artist will be in the Bay Area September/October 2018.

Participating San Francisco/Bay Area artists include: Shaghayegh Cyrous, Keyvan Shovir, Kelly Ording, Jet Martinez, Jose Guerra Awe, Christopher Statton and Megan Wilson.

Participating Yogyakarta artists include: Nano Warsono, Bambang Toko, Hari Ndarvati, Muhammad Yusuf (Ucup), Wedhar Riyadi, Eko Didyk Sukowati (Codit), and Vina Puspita.
